Matthew C. Rogers has been practicing law in the State of Tennessee since graduating from Nashville School of Law in 2008. With a strong foundation in legal education and years of experience in the courtroom, he is committed to providing trusted and effective legal representation to clients across Southeast Tennessee.
A native of the region, Matthew began his academic journey at Cleveland State Community College before earning his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University. His dedication to the legal profession is matched by his deep roots in the local community.
Matthew has practiced in every court level in the State of Tennessee—from General Sessions Court to the Tennessee Supreme Court—with success. He is licensed to practice in all Tennessee State Courts as well as the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. In his criminal defense practice, he has secured hundreds of charge dismissals and more than 50 jury trial acquittals. On the civil side, he has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of clients throughout East and Middle Tennessee.
In addition to his private practice, Matthew proudly serves as the City Judge for Calhoun, Tennessee, where he presides over municipal cases with fairness and integrity.
Matthew is a devoted husband and father to two sons. Outside the courtroom, he and his family are actively involved in raising and showing quarter horses—an endeavor that reflects their shared passion for tradition, discipline, and hard work.
